I love the models, especially the massive train that you can get: It is nice to see FW getting into fantasy. I'm looking at the dragon models with greed.

If i remember correctly they had a nice female wizard model that knew either lore of death or lore of shadows and she was on a dragon. She sounded pretty awesome actually. As far as vampire counts go i think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the new army book.

Elspeth Von Draken on a Carmine dragon. That thing is super awesome, I want one. If the empire had pikemen then I would start up an empire pike/gun army with mounted gunners and this huge dragon as the centre. Plus, you have to love someone riding a dragon side saddle:

I thought the empire had spearmen and halberdiers. They do have outriders and pistoliers if you want to talk mounted gunmen. Really they should have everything you want except maybe the dragon currently. Empire are pretty stupidly overpowered but back to chaos dwarfs! The new daemonsmiths! Uploaded with ImageShack.us

'i gives me great pleasure while driving...' ; It's just so easy to take this the wrong way... Regarding Chaos Dwarves, the latest incarnation are a mix between the old style 3rd edition fantasy ones (made by Marauder miniatures) and the bizarre later edition KFC bucket hat heads. I still have a Bloodbowl team with KFC bucket hat heads.

I just hope the chaos dwarves aren't an OP Forge World army. I don't want to face an army that has all the coolest toys and destroys everything with no basic units with no special abilities. Meh i suppose it proves everybody loves new models. If dark eldar didn't get a super face lift (though i'm sure the haemonculus would get it done ;P) then the army wouldn't be nearly as popular. That said though the new dark eldar sound so fun. I'm really happy they succeeded. Now if only we can get sisters of battle with ornate artificer armor and an insignia in the middle of their helmets on the forehead part that curves around the eyes with their basically boy scout symbol (anybody else find it odd the all female group in 40k has the boy scouts symbol?). Anyway chaos dwarves look nice but there are other armies i'd prefer to it. Still though fireglaives sound so sexy and that cannon omg. Did i just make that sound needlessly dirty ?

The Fleur de Lys isn't a boy scout symbol...

Yeah i guess not. I was just joking around i guess.
Anyway have chaos dwarfs gotten anything new yet. Warhammer Forge seems infinitely lazier than Forge World these days and you have to admit Forge World is mostly if you love Imperial Guard as strange as that is. Not more than a couple units per faction seem interesting until you get to the Imperial Guard and everything seems awesome on Forge World.

I think FW has realised the big money is in marines, not guard, unfortunately, which is why we're seeing all this Heresy stuff. Don't get me wrong, some 30k stuff looks great, but... FFS ... when are they going to release Imperial Army models? Now it's a pure power armour fest.

That's a shame. I would sure love to see some fantasy armies done. Lord knows that'd make me happy. Even skaven, vampire counts or beastmen would be cool. Hell just about anything fantasy would. I'm not fond of dwarfs and orcs & goblins that much though.
