So we have the stormfiends (which are apparently really powerful), the 5 types of vermin lord (one of which is a named special character i think), a new warlord, a new grey seer and an end times book. Thanquol also got a new model with boneripper. Not sure about the details but simply put lizardmen and dwarfs have gotten owned pretty hard this time around in the lore. It's kind of like how all the elven races got it up the butt in the lore last book. I'll show some pictures of the new skaven models in a bit. Sorry that the news is a bit delayed but i'm lazy.  |

Hang on, so the Lizardmen AND the Dwarves are getting killed off? That's pretty harsh..
What's the story-line in a nut-shell so far? (Sorry I haven't been following anything lately)
Haven't they already killed most of Bretonnia and the Empire as well?
But lots of different kinds of monsters there. Is that some kind of terminator armoured skaven with assault cannons on both arms and a belly mounted cannon as well?

I don't have the books myself but i've heard lizardmen and dwarves are very near depleted in number. Supposedly every dwarf hold is up in flames or similar and both the southlands (africa) and lustria (south america) are destroyed taking with it a bunch of lizardmen. A bunch of the lizardmen went into force domes and started hovering above the ground via the slann. That said lizardmen still have skink lead armies in some places around the world. It sounds more like the army will either be skink based from now on or they will have two forces possibly (dunno). Elves are combined into one super OP book now that makes every other previous elf OP book combined into the super OP book. Basically naggaroth (north america) was overtaken by chaos so the dark elves attacked the high elves and ulthuan sank and now every elf is in the wood elf domain. The undead kind of helped save the empire i heard which is very weird and very mat ward-esque. Basically the finishing blow is coming with archaeon the ever-chosen (as if chaos completely combined needed to have two end times books) and it's very likely it's going to be mostly chaos vs nagash/undead. The good guys may all be doing the minor work at this point considering how utterly effed in the 'a' they are. Skaven are fighting with chaos and nagash is fighting with empire and such and i think elves will also fight with nagash though it's getting kinda weird. The whole bit about armored or even power armored empire seems to disgust me. It's too much like 40k. Part of the refreshing part of fantasy was there was no space marine faction in a sense. If this is done empire will be such a token good side that it's probably going to be half of what all fantasy players play. Oh and i have no idea wtf happened with bretonnia. I heard their king died but bretonnia currently has the oldest book and skaven have the second oldest. Thank god for 'end times' or skaven would be super old. In my opinion the codex creep really hit them. -------- Oh and those rat ogres with weapons teams are called storm fiends. They are very potent and very powerful and lately i'm wondering what loadout i should take with my 3 stormfiends. They cost a crap ton of points though. They cost 85 pts per model and this is considering we have 2 pts slave models (slaves are basically a crap ton of naked cheaper unarmored conscripts from the imperial guard with a shiv). |

Someone needs to make a diorama of an assault cannoned-up Storm fiend (possibly with extra multilasers on its back) shooting a whole load of brettonian knights, with king Louen Leoncouer in the background, saying 'C'est magnifique mais ce n'est pas le 40k..'

I'm actually thinking of buying the vermin lord next but i'm unsure and if so i don't know which one i should get (probably the eshin one called 'the deceiver'). That said i think i might want a spell caster vermin lord. Anyway i should get it with the tax return money when and if it happens and depending how much i get to spend as decided by my half sister.
I got the new grey seer but his tail partially broke and i couldn't fix it back on. Empty seems to hate the new grey seer model. He says it looks 2-d if you look at it from an angle and he's kind of right but i like how it looks anyway.
The warlord looks good but the weird horned helmet is a little strange to me.
