I think SoA are still available, they are a duel kit with Shadow Warriors.

I'm not sure how many stages I've used from red to yellow, because I was wet blending it from a wet pallet so I was just adding in more and more orange (which I think was the layer colour Troll Slayer Orange). The paints used were Mephiston Red ----> Troll Slayer Orange ----> Yriel Yellow. The darker red on some of the feathers is Khorne Red (unless I've accidentally reversed those two). The beak and the feet are currently just Jokaero Orange so that should give you an idea of how much the lighting in this picture is making it look different to what you are looking at on your own model.

I bought TS orange while picking up yet another whirlwind. It looks even brighter than the old blazing orange I have lying around.

Any more Elves being assembled? Not buying any of the new sea elves riding sharks and giant tortoises floating in mid-air?

I started painting the scourge red on the top armor and purple for the under armor parts and maybe some clothes. Also i'm doing a crap ton of highlights including red to orange on the red armor so that's a thing. Doing the base followed by wash and then base again before layers and highlights as well. Warhammer tv and other stuff is helping my painting skills somewhat. We'll see how it goes.

Anyway it's nice to see both of you here still. I gotta say when Fantasy died my motivation to update was kinda gone. If either of you want to play a game of WHFB on universal battle some time we can do that though. It should be fun but i'll need to brush up on my 8th ed WHFB rulebook some more.

I was trying to get some extra painting motivation so I set up for a 2.6k game vs myself with High Elves and VC. I was too lazy to pull out the realm of battle boards so the table is only 3x6/.









The lighting changes quite a bit in these pictures because I started at around 04:30 and finished at 09:00.
