So it's season 3 of spartacus and the main actor from the first series passed away, so there's a new Spartacus now.
The new season moves forward in time and now the slaves are now in full revolt. It falls to former Legate, now the Preator, Claudius Gaius Glabra to bring the revolting slaves under the Roman heel.
Just watched the first episode last week.

Is this from the same thing as Spartacus: Blood and Sand? I'm thinking i should probably watch it. That's kind of sad the main actor passed away. That really sucks like when heath ledger passed away. Strangely enough on that subject i've seen people that can pretty much act like heath ledger's joker from the dark knight pretty much exactly.

Yes. Blood and Sand was season 1, then the story went back in time for season 2 (because the main actor was suffering from cancer) - just to expand on Battiatus and Lucy Lawless' characters.
But you can easily skip season 2 entirely as the new series carries on after the events of season 1.
But really we're just watching it for all the gratuitous sex and violence, right?

Yep and i think when freud imagined the world was all sex and violence he was watching too many action films.

Only series 3 is turning out to be disappointing. Not enough sex, violence, plot or decent characters compared to 1 & 2.  |

It's over now. Wasn't anywhere near as good as season 1 or 2..
I think where they failed was less action scenes, less sex scenes, too many new characters and not enough good ones (like Battiatus from season 1/2) and moving the plot too far ahead too quickly.
It should have been so good if only they kept to the original formula.

Well seasons 1&2 did well with all 3...
I blame mobile internet - 1000x slower than broadband -, bad reception in my dad's area and the fact that I jog most days. And work.
You're working nowadays - feeling tired at the end of the day?

Yes as a matter of fact i feel tired after about every 8 hour work day. I can't imagine what it's like when you're doing over-time and you have a week full of work with each day more than 8 work hours long. I'd hate my life so badly. I'm pretty much so tired when i get home i go straight to sleep for at least a few hours and then wake back up to eat dinner and go back to sleep after 2 hours of computer games.
