My IGMB xcom squad!

So i plan to make an xcom crew based around the members of the igmb.

I'm up for suggestions for names if anybody has any though not many people come into here so there ya go.

Rook's will have call sign's like rook-a-mina, the rook, (the name) we will rook you!, rookistan or other similar names.

Paimon's will be 'payback' for her callsign.

Trickstick's will be 'trickles' or 'trix'.

Melissia's will be 'tsundere' because she is one in a way and it pisses her off. That or 'PMS power' would be good names for her. I don't know what she'll look like exactly since the only photo i saw of her was blurred so i can only imagine she's as elusive as bigfoot though hopefully not as hairy or similar looking.

Req's will be 'batman' or 'I'M BATMAN!' since he seems like batman considering he fences and knows several languages as well as is funny.

Dave's will be 'cap'n dave' or 'davey jones'.

Emptyhat's is already 'full wank'.

RT's will be 'ponce', 'pompous' or 'pompous ass'.

Hookah's will be 'overdose' (yeah it's mean but everybody hates him anyway).

FFE's will be 'tease' since she is one. She said she was considered one.

Makarova will be 'S&M queen' or 'dominatrix'.

Peter cooman's will be peter 'rabbit' cooman or peter 'pan' cooman.

I'm still thinking of names for people like cheminhaler, the ultimate gentleman, ymmot, trooper1974 and walrus. Walrus's might be 'love walrus'.

I prefer your name to be 'full wank'. If i could fit more than 10 letters it'd be 'full wankery' or something. Of course 'full wank' sounded funnier so i did that. I prefer it to your suggestion of 'full spunk'. I find it funnier.

If i get the triad operative in the new game i'll give him the call-sign 'ronery guy' after team america's engrish kim jong il.

fire for effect (got her as a reward for a council mission) She has blonde hair from the avatar she had and the armor tint is from her light blue and white striped bikini picture . Yes i am a fan of it. I did nickname her 'tease'.

walrus (i don't like his current armor since he became a heavy) He's a sergeant now btw. That's how i imagine him to look sort of for some odd reason. I nicknamed him 'bondage boy' because i couldn't think of anything else. It was mostly due to the purple bondage sweater back when he was initiated into the igmb with trooper doing tests on him. I suppose i should've given him a purple armor tint for that reason.

elegaic requiem (this is about how i imagine him to look with facial hair and everything) I may make his hair darker but this is about how i imagine him to be. Emptyhat totally agrees with the facial hair. He still hasn't faced combat yet. If he makes it to sergeant he is going to be nicknamed batman.

Ok so that's the igmb team. Oddly enough we have plenty of female members in it so far even though i only meant to have paimon and melissia in. Paimon is a decent sniper, melissia is a heavy, walrus is a heavy, FFE is a support (made sense to me) and requiem hasn't progressed far enough to get a class though you'd figure sniper or something. My main team of four consists so far of paimon, melissia, some random guy (i never named him but he's the highest rank so far) and walrus (who couldn't hit any enemies very well for the most part).

I'm unsure of what to nickname other people but i am going to have to skip out on getting people from the U.S. or such to be american igmb people. I did luck out and pick an australian for walrus and a canadian for paimon since i had a female canadian and a male australian but that's not always frequent. I just decided. So i'd say the people i decided to make regularly were probably melissia, requiem and FFE though to an extent also paimon. I just rolled up the right countries for paimon and walrus mostly. I could've made the australian jarms but i have no freaking clue what to nickname him 'the gamemaster'?

Anyway have at it guys. You can let the igmb know about this if you wish.

Also whoops i think i gave FFE race #4 and i think that's hispanic. I think i'll change it to caucasian soon as possible.

Melissia is also currently in med-bay for 5 days since she took like 2/3 damage to her health and in ridiculous game fashion she barely flinched and it only really served to piss her off more i bet.

Anyway i'll go into xcom soon. I have a bad feeling once thin men come in greater numbers and mutons start showing up that my elite squad will die pretty freaking hard. The likelihood of casualties for the IGMB members is pretty high. In fact there's a great chance they will all die and since requiem is only a rookie noob he has a his chance of panicking or sucking.

So updates!

FFE died along with another support person i tried to save. She ended up getting flanked and then shot to death by a cyberdisc. Poor FFE. Noes!!! This was in a supply barge mission where i had to face like 22 guys and i'm unsure if it was a crashed or landed ship.

The next mission where i lost named characters it got pretty down to the wire. Paimon was the next IGMB member to die by getting turned into a zombie (she basically got mouth-fucked by a chrysallid). I think i killed her when she turned into a chrysallid. She did panic along with dave and that's part of why she died. I haven't been terribly lucky with panic for some bad ass colonels. I lost my other sniper right after and i think he was only a major. I also managed to lose requiem over stupid reasons and he was a colonel. Basically in one mission i lost paimon, requiem, another bad ass random sniper like paimon and i think somebody else (possibly a noobie). Melissia fell unconscious in that mission and dave managed to salvage the mission with just 1 hp left. Considering my constant bad luck (with slight good luck) it's amazing the whole squad wasn't butchered when i had to kill off the last elite muton. Thank Dave old buddy for saving melissia and yourself even if you panicked along with paimon and almost fucked up that mission for me.

I also lost my bad ass random assault guy in some random council mission to recover a data storage thing which was one of his earlier missions (sadly he was a reward soldier so he was fairly high up).

I got a heavy captain as a reward at some point and she's filling in my bigger gaps. So far i've got most of the final tier weapons and armors unlocked. Dave and melissia are still alive. I made trickstick, orren and robert m. I sadly had to throw trickstick into his first mission with skeleton armor when 4 others had titan armor including robert m. Basically trickstick killed one thin man and then i put him into a flanking position of a guy that it said he couldn't see even though he could obviously see said guy. Said thin man then came around the corner and nearly killed trickstick and the poison trickstick had on him killed him off sadly. I think i'll make him again some time. We'll see. I also lost some random assault or support dude that would've been promoted to corporal. Robert m made it out of the mission with 2 hp.

So those are the results. I'm trying to make more of the igmb members and i would've made westrider but for some reason i felt like doing orren even though he doesn't like me. I figure called orren 'pinkie pie' as a nickname would be funny. I would've called trickstick 'trickles' or 'trix' if he had lived to sergeant rank.

I also forgot to update that on day 2 i lost walrus and my high level assault soldier at the beginning of the game. So far melissia is doing a great job surviving for a mission one soldier. If she lives i get the achievement for having a soldier live every mission. Not easy but considering it's classic ironman it'll be pretty hard. I'm actually surprised i'm doing this well in classic ironman and that many of the IGMB members lived so long. Maybe i should've gotten better armor sooner. I was a bit less careful today i think but the lack of good armor really was the kicker. I'm really unhappy i lost FFE, paimon and walrus as my IGMB characters though i don't give as much of a shit about requiem dying . I may let orren die fairly easily too but if i make RT or hookah i'm sending them in with a full move as my scouts so that they die first ;P.

I also never got to give requiem the nickname 'batman' or 'I'M BATMAN!'. That made me very sad.

Not sure if i mentioned it but walrus was the first of the IGMB members to die and like FFE died from a cyberdisc even though FFE threw a dense smoke (+40 defense) smoke grenade on him and he had skeleton armor on (+10 defense) though he did get flanked in full cover. Stupid cyberdiscs and melee units with their long ass range.

Actually i did put you in the crew chem. You died....just like everybody else i put on there from the IGMB. Eventually i just ran out of names of what i wanted to call everybody from the forum and got so depressed everybody i put on there died so i just stopped putting IGMB members on there for fear they'd just die some more.

I put walrus, orren, requiem, you, dave, melissia, FFE, paimon, trickstick, robertm, jarms, makarova, galatea and maybe a couple others in the team. I was actually depressed by how fast trickstick died but it was somewhat from a glitch. He got one kill total before dying and galatea and makarova did just about as bad. I think orren didn't do so great either. Jarms made it to at least sergeant rank before dying. I also had that psychic girl from dredd 3D as one of my characters and power girl (which made lieutenant). I think jarms, power girl, the psychic girl and possibly you all died on a battleship mission. There was only 3 enemies left of like 23 or so and then my team got wiped out. Not fun.

Also you destroy computer programs from within? Are you like a virus or agent smith?

Yeesh this thread is super old. Anyway xcom enemy within was bought and played by me as well as all the extra content. I may do another playthrough of my current skavenblight buddies and which igmb members have stuck with me.

I plan on making a new version of emptyhat and give him cybernetic augmentations. I already told him if I do I will give him the nickname 'Wankinator'. It's kind of like if the terminator was british instead and was into wanking ;P. I just think it'd be hilarious. I also have the line in my head where Arnold destroys the bad terminator in 'terminator 2' and says 'hasta la vista, baby' except since he's british he'd say 'cheerio, infant' in a british accent.

I'm not sure what I'd do for you guys but I figure jarms and yourself will get helmets.

Btw I only play on impossible difficulty now and I may need to have you guys as nationalities that you are not. For some reason it has had a hard time of generating male british characters in some of my games so getting empty's character has proven difficult.
