I've been hearing new rumors about these factions getting a new book on dakka dakka. I'll see if i can't pull them up. ----------------- 'From an anonymous email to Darnok over at Warseer: "Every 3-4 months, as an independent retailer, we get a list of items that must be stocked. These are changed in advanced so we don't order old stock, and to give us a change to sell off old stock before new items turn up. The last one in about October / November added a few basic Marine items but dropped Tau Battlesuits, which would tie in with concepts of new battlesuits and new Tau for Spring / Easter. Yesterday I got the new list, which had a lot of changes in the Fantasy sections. I no longer have to stock High Elves Spearmen, Wood Elves, Bret Knights or Dwarf Warriors. It can therefore be reasonably speculated that these core troop choices will be relaunched in the next 6 - 8 months. The only change in 40k was I no longer have to stock any Eldar (not even DA or Guardians)." As far as I know (and have posted last August) the release order remains unchanged. Your bland short fat humans (tre Manor's Red Box Games do dwarfs sooooo much better!) should be with you early next year. Out of interest have these same stockists been asked the same of their Lizardmen range?

This sounds like something out of Airplane.
New Saurus cold one cavalry sounds good, if only for the possibility of making more rough riders with the mounts.

You should know how stupid power carnosaur cavalry is. They have like a +4 scaly skin, they get frenzy if they eat an enemy, they have like strength 7 and are for the most parts a mount about as good as an arachnarok or hellpit abomination. I'm not sure if they're toughness 5 or 6 but i couldn't imagine more than 3 of these in a unit. It'd just get too ridiculous.
At least they'll be under rare choices and therefore limited to 25% of your points max. Dunno how it'll all work out. If this is done it would easily steamroll any other monstrous cavalry to date because they're more along the lines of monsters.

More from dakka. It seems lizardmen are fairly soon and perhaps next.
I like it. Lizardmen might need a new book but some other armies would be higher up on my list for a change.

Yeah right. If they're reboxed they'll get a price hike for sure. This reminds me of the move to rebox IG infantry from £18 for 20 to £12.50 for 10.
Didn't take too many years after that to get to the £18 for 10 debacle of today.

I mean look at me - I never buy anything unless it says Imperial Guard or Imperial Space Marine on it.
In fact I'd even buy underwear with Imperial Eagles on if they made it...

I think your girlfriend would be a little confused after seeing the Imperial Eagles on your underwear personally.
I've been very interested in dark eldar, beastmen and vampire counts. I also have my old roommate's vampire counts. I'd personally start vampire counts but i don't think i could handle another horde army. It's just too much to paint and set up and it'd be nice to have ease of transportation and movement for once. Dark eldar have this even if i've been wanting to stay in fantasy. There's just something about the dark eldar though. I feel like i like everything about the aesthetic and background of them.
Anyway my lizardmen playing friend will be happy to know about the upcoming lizardmen army if it happens. I kind of hope it does. I'm interested to see what they get.
