They could do, but I hate allies. If I did SW/ IG allies I'd probably castrate myself and bleed to death ... or.. not... They were just 'test shot' minis. In the end I'm going for catachan plastics. Again. But obviously with bandannas/ headbands scraped off and GS'd hairstyles. So far I have about 27 infantry assembled (out of 117  ) and my aegis line, bastion and the 2 guns. Carrying fortifications together with an army will be fun. |

I'm not really a fan of catachans but a few people are like trooper. My real beef with them is they're supposedly really old. Vostroyans were easily the best group of guard of the 3 when they were all in stores together.

His skin coloring looks a little weird somehow. He actually kind of looks like a mannequin. It's a little creepy.

It was my special mix.
Chem's Toxic Flesh - 90% screaming skull, 5% averland sunset, 5% mournfang brown and a little bit of black. That's the new Stadarzki standard skin colour..
I'll try to use as many different flesh colours as I can on the new models. I bought some weird new GW flesh colours to try out as well.

I think as far as skin color and looks go the one in the first and 2nd pic looks the best. The others are getting there though. Some of them look like they need a little work though. Still better than i could paint by a long shot.

Oh yeah. The last pic are still pretty WIP, but the sniper is done and the commissar nearly done.
Also I rewrote my list to take advantage of an unused basilisk I have. Unpainted too..
It will save me £90 or so because of the FW stuff I'm not buying, and now all I need (to buy) really is another aegis line, another leman russ and a hydra.
Plus I have psyker battle squads and another primaris to take me easily towards 2500 point eventually.
