This is great so far. I've watched 6 episodes, only 2 to go for the season, I believe. The setting is interesting; 15th century Italy and the rival city states. So far it's mostly been about Florence, under Lorenzo the Magnificent, VS the Catholic Church, centred in Rome.

I have episode 8 ; the finale to watch. I'll let you know what I thought of the series so far after that. Generally it's very positive - there was a lot that I liked about this series, from Da Vinci's romance with the gorgeous Lucretia character (who is also Lorenzo's concubine - not his wife) to the constant mysterious quest of find an artifact known as 'The Book of Leaves'.

Last episode wasn't all that but looking online season 2 might be starting in 2014. By which time I'll have totally forgotten about it. Plus I don't really have sky so watching this stuff is hard, unless a few years pass, then they'll start putting it on normal TV or those extra free skybox channels, like PICKTV.
