I might get to it in a bit. Melissia said I was a stalker and got kicked off the IGMB for it in a thread on dakka dakka. While not wholly untrue I feel I had reasons for some of that behavior and it was mostly me just liking FFE which was an impossible thing. Anyway the whole thing has got me feeling uncomfortable. I basically called her a man-hater and she said I stalked her. Whatever I'm tired of this shit anyway. If I ever 'stalked' a woman she should just tell me to never talk to her again. I dunno I just really would like to be away from all that shit.

So just draw a line under it and forget about it. Dwelling on it isn't going to help. Plus this was just ages ago, what brought on the flashback?
Were you declared Diabolus Extremis under a conclave of the Inquisition Ordos, as well? So not only the sisters but the inquisition are also after you?

No and people dropped the subject after a while. They also didn't press me for info on the matter and the thread seems to be ok with me now. I was just dumb enough to say melissia was a border-line man hater considering her comments in a thread. I was tired of her crap.
Anyway lynata and I had some good discussion in the thread despite this so it seems she doesn't care. What's past is past and I'm feeling better about it. She's a hell of a woman for avoiding that topic completely.

Just yesterday I beat new Wood Elves! Woot, woot! It was a crazy game but the triple warlock build seemed to be effective against it. My opponent said it was my best list yet. Maybe i'll give it a shot against other armies and hopefully see how it goes.

I see. Yeah you don't want to start a flame war really.
Congratulations on beating the wood elves. Did he have lots of archers and did you take a lot of casualties from them?
It seems 40k 7th edition is out next week; stealth edition change or what? Admittedly I haven't been into a gw for ages or bought WD since it went weekly, so everything just seems so sudden these days.

Admittedly I haven't been into a gw for ages or bought WD since it went weekly, so everything just seems so sudden these days. In my eyes melissia's just a hate-filled bitch and there isn't anything that's going to change that. Sorry if I'm being mean but I just really don't like her. I'm making quite the list for people I don't like though to be fair many people are mad at them just as many are mad at me so it's not like I'm wholly to blame. Meh whatever, lynata's been making me feel good even if she's just being nice. Good woman if only she's interested I might be in luck. Perhaps she is but we're just too far away. Meh I need a woman that's closer. Yeah I took a lot of casualties. I barely pulled through a win. He had mostly depleted units everywhere except for one group of archers. Some good luck for me and bad luck for my opponent. Today's battle was a 2,000 pts list versus lizardmen. I feel I took way too many heroes and lords. Perhaps if I used more points in core and similar I'd have a lot more crap to throw at the enemy. We'll have to see. Perhaps in 2.5k pts my heroes and lords are more acceptable in cost but today it wasn't. To be fair he won to go first and he always seems to roll his saves even when they suck so there's that too. I could imagine the abomination would've helped a ton in this battle. Well back to the drawing board. I'm going to use plague monks for my next battle and see how that goes. Just amass plague monks and buff them with wizards. I'll take big units of the plague monks and they should be able to take some good hits. Perhaps a combo of that and the magic should help. We'll have to see. GW seems to be pretty good at hiding info for a lot of things these days or at least in some cases. I almost wonder if our leaked rumors come from GW employees in the know that basically come by in trench coats and shades and are given money for discrete info on the new army. I just imagine the fans sliding by a box of money with a smile appearing on the corrupt employee's face and telling all about the new wood elves with some lies to make them sound cooler so we give em more cash.

In 40k hatred is more sacred than love which is probably why the Emp'rah is actually Beelzebub.

Yeah 40k is like that ;P. I kind of stopped playing 40k because of all the grim dark. They just go overboard with it.
Anyway not much has been going on. Played some warhammer fantasy and lost again (big surprise ;P) against wood elves. Some guy seemed to quickly adapt to their weaknesses (i.e. wizard spam of magic missiles and such) by taking death magic and sniping out my warlocks in a couple turns. The ratling guns were of no use pretty much against the wood elves since apparently wood elves are the hot shit of the month with 30" long bows (which is actually a good distance for move and fire shooting).
I'm not playing too many games recently. Just a little bit of the original starcraft and some 'wargame: red dragon' with emptyhat. It would seem I found some strength and weaknesses in the French deck. Their 2 new helicopters are good at stealth and comparable to apaches. Also though their tanks are fast they usually don't have missiles on them and have low firing ranges meaning vehicles or infantry hiding and sniping them tend to do well. In fact perhaps in general on the attack French forces are vulnerable to positions set up with AT rockets. I know I killed a shit ton with my American force when fighting A.I. You'd be surprised all the kills those recon bradleys got and they're just recon tanks.

So today emptyhat showed me 'Danger 5' and I told him I didn't get it because you only need one british person per group in spy and robbery movies. Seriously look at ocean's eleven, lupin the 3rd and other such stuff.
Other than that empty and I played some 'wargame: red dragon'. It's pretty good and I've got the hang of it more so now. Apparently team America and the commonwealth nations are bros for life. He does actually have the name euro-bros on one of his decks though.
Speaking of bros I find it funny Super Mario Bros. was shortened to bros. Now I can't stop seeing them as douchebags with backwards hats trying to date rape the princess or something.

wood elves are the hot shit of the month with 30" long bows As far as I know this was the case back in 3rd edition. It was to give them an edge because they lacked the variety of cc units except for wardancers and they're missile heavy in any case.

Wild Riders are pretty potent in melee now. War dancers seem alright. I don't think I've faced some of the new units yet (maybe they suck or seem to). It's been said you generally won't win the shooting war with wood elves. Them being in most forests doesn't help esp. since they get buffs in them and the fact that if an enemy goes into one with rank and file that they'll lose any steadfast bonus they might have. Sisters of thorn have some crazy resistance against magic and seem to be a good character bunker. The have a 4+ ward and magic resistance 2 so they have a 2+ ward against magical attacks except test or die spells which allow no saves.
Part of the reason I lost the game I played was because the map was river based and for me to get in range of his stupid wood elves I generally had to slowly get into the river which negates all my ranks and prevents me from being steadfast on any of those units. It was pretty horrible since those are 2 things skaven desperately need.

Are there any spells you can use to boost your infantry movement or just airlift them somewhere else?
Had my game with Emptyhat yesterday; it was great.
I've realised I need drop pods like crazy. I could get a drop pod by substituting my ass marine rhino with hkm and extra armour for a drop pod with deathwind m/l but for some reason I'm just super attached to that tank. It was the first transport I'd made for quite a while; it was made in 2006 and the extra armour was made with plates from the old guard vehicle sprue & it has a funky homemade stormbolter strapped to an auspex on the front.
Another thing I could do is sub my librarian and a typhoon for a storm talon with twin linked lascannon. Being a flyer its harder to hit and has armour 12 on the front and sides instead of 10. Typhoons aren't open topped, unlike the scout storm speeder but they're armour 10.

Typhoons aren't open topped, unlike the scout storm speeder but they're armour 10. Sadly no but I feel like rat swarms may help in the future esp. for re-directing enemy units, holding up some firing lines, killing war machines and allowing to me to fire over them while I am using them to re-direct with. Really they're sounding pretty good and yet people seem to hate the idea of using them and think they are over-costed. Being unbreakable and leadership 10 also helps even if they are unstable. I'm gonna try out a bunch in the future and see how it goes. ------------- Well 7th edition is out now so I don't know what that's like. 40k is probably an entirely different beast from when I left it in 5th edition. I kind of wish fantasy would move on to 9th edition now but what are you gonna do. At least skaven should be due for a re-release pretty soon. I'm betting they'll get one within a year's time. ------------- I don't know what you could do with your 40k stuff. Remember I never played marines and I haven't played 40k in probably 4-5 years. I think that storm talons look pretty cool. I almost wish guard had some. They're like little helicopters. I also think you should totally post this game. I'm interested in hearing how it went. I wouldn't know if you got pictures though.

The pictures were a bit blurry, I hate this camera. So many pictures had to be deleted while I was taking them and it was wasting game time and I wasn't writing things down properly.

So my birthday was today or actually yesterday. It was alright. I already got some presents which is probably uncommon for somebody at 27. We ate at red lobster which was good. I still had to work on my birthday obviously. If possible i'll try to get some GW and steam cards at best buy or gamestop (if that's where the gift card was to).
I'm not sure what I should go for next with skaven or if I should work on up with dark eldar. I do love fantasy but it's tiring with some of the dumb movement rules. I think I'm getting the hang of it even though I've played it at least twice as long as 40k and yet I did so much better in 40k. To be fair I catered back then and that's frowned upon. I try my best to do an all comers list now.
I could keep trying out warhammer fantasy but if I do I might want to do vampire counts. Something different might be more fun. Bogging down the enemy with numbers and doing just about nothing else is very boring play.
Btw just a little funny idea but would adding the name 'unbroken' to a character in a space wolf army be funny to you guys. For instance 'wulfbad the unbroken' as a name that you use. I just think 'unbroken' would make it sound like a dog that hasn't been house-broken yet. Basically 'wulfbad' still pees in random spots in homes when he has to go. I wouldn't exactly put it past a space wolf.

Happy birthday, FKM. You're 10 years younger than me!
I think you've done very well at fantasy; it's a much harder game than 40k. When I was young I only played a few times (I mean aged 14-18) with school friends and my Empire always lost to the Wood Elf circus army. I call it the circus army because thats what it was. My opponent's usual tactic was to fly his dragon with general in to take out my entire back field and then shoot me to death elsewhere and follow in with wardancers, wood elf beastmasters and other random monsters, like Chimeras and Manticores. My rank and file never stood a chance. Eventually I had to make my own dragon (black with no rider) to counter his shenanigans. Still have that ancient tiny metal dragon somewhere...
Plus this same guy hated 40k because my Mordian IG kicked his butt totally in 2nd edition but loved fantasy.
