How do you have a fellblade again? I thought it was a skaven only item.
I'm not entirely sure if going for powerful weapons is the best idea with orcs and goblins as their initiative is ok unless you give them boosts with magic or something. However with skaven or high initiative races going for glass cannon seems to be best with heroes.
In a 2k list i'd probably throw in another wizard that's level 2 or so. Maybe get rid of a chieftain or something.
Other than that this list looks decent. The goblins are probably gonna panic in a hurry though. Good thing such a small unit is only shooting this game or i'd wonder what you were thinking. You're pretty low on both ranged and magic which is somewhat bad but i think you could handle this with just one more wizard.

The good thing is even if the goblins panic, the Orcs don't care about fleeing goblins. They only panic if there's an Orc char in a goblin regiment (which there won't be).
Fellblade changed to a powerful Orky magic weapon. It adds random attacks and points to your attributes; you have to roll D6 every turn to see what happens.

So orcs have a fellblade weapon now?! Interesting. I should like to see the description of it in the orcs & goblins army book to see how it got into orc hands or if it's a different weapon with the same name. I guess they could've looted one from the skaven or something. I kind of would like to see how it works out game-wise too. Sounds very interesting actually. I still think i prefer my str 10 magic weapon hits which do d6 wounds and cause ward saves to be re-rolled though. Even if it slowly kills my warlord it's totally worth it sometimes. Just gotta hope you roll well on the d6 wounds part and that it hits when it should. It should be a good steam tank killer you would think since you auto-hit the steam tank in close combat.
I still think that in a 2k game you should get rid of the hero in your 1k list and add another level 2 wizard or something. Magic is fickle sometimes but it can be the difference between victory and defeat i'm sure. It's just that you don't normally want too many wizards either. 2, 3 or even maybe 4 in a 2k list is good. 4 might actually be too many but i suppose it depends on the level of each wizard. Even then it's still probably too many wizards. I'd go with a good 2-3 wizards in 2k-2.5k.

Battleaxe of the Last Waagh! = Roll a D6 every turn and add that number to both your Str and Attacks, but the downside is that the more attacks you have the more unwieldy the weapon becomes, which lowers your WS -1 for 1/2 attacks, -2 for 3/4 attacks and -3 for the top number 5/6 attacks.
Also I lose the dude with the ogre blade and make him a shaman with a dispel scroll and an extra boy!

Sounds good but i rather liked the idea of the fellblade actually. Was just curious how a fellblade made its way into the orc's possession is all.
That other orc shaman is only a level 1 wizard though. If possible i'd prefer 2 level 2's but that's me. The list is pretty good though. I might change it a bit but it's more personal preference. Besides i don't play orcs & goblins.

OK; It's 2 level 2 wizards. I changed the dispel scroll to an earthing rod and lost 5 boyz to upgrade to lvl 2..

Just a thought, but if you drop a boarboy and the 4 regular boyz you add to the regiment, you can make your warboss a black ork.
Gives you a better save and better stats.

Black Orcs are a favoured delicacy in the Blood Tusk tribe.
Just kidding...
Originally it was Orcs only, then I added some goblins. I might add a regiment of Black Orc infantry later, but only to stop panic speading between the 2 main orc block regiments. I feel if I'm lucky the Battleaxe of the Last Waaagh! will give me the edge I need.
Edit - progress report. I built some more Orc boyz yesterday using 40k ork bitz and bought a box of 10 orcs, 20 goblins and the warboss/bsb kit. I also assembled the BSB and used the interesting spare head to make another mean looking boy.

Sounds good man. It's only too bad i can't face some of you guys in fantasy. I think my skaven are a little tired of plotting and hiding and just want to kill something and feed on their broken corpses as skaven do after a battle. I could always use more warpfire throwers, the jezzails and i really wish this jetpack unit i thought of would be made sooner rather than later. I'd just be happy to see them add it.

I wasn't too fond of fantasy orcs and goblins but the goblins have all the kookiness you love. The orcs are just the brute strength group whereas goblins are fairly funny and fun.

Yeah goblins are neat. That's why i made sure that all goblins in my army could be taken as a separate army too.
It's only 1000 pts for a small battle, but still allows me to take an all goblin army when i want too.
They have too be night goblins or wolf riders though, plain goblins i find a bit meh...

Originally it was Orcs only. I've let normal goblins in, just to give the orcs something to boss around, but I didn't want Night Goblins, even though fanatics are great, neither Forest Goblin Spider Riders, even though they look fantastic. I might get Wolf Riders a bit later on, but a giant has to be added in too.
